Camden County's Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has released its 2017 Hurricane Guide. The online guide, available on Camden County's website, has information to help local residents prepare for hurricane season.
Included in the guide is information about the EMA, the 2017 Hurricane Forecast, preparing for hurricanes, CodeRED weather warnings, and Georgia evacuation routes. Additionally, there are links to local, state, and federal offices and agencies that can help before, during, or after a hurricane.
“After Hurricane Matthew last year, more people are concerned about hurricanes and tropical storms,” said EMA Director Mark Crews. “The Hurricane Guide has valuable information to help Camden County residents learn more about what they can do to better prepare for this year’s hurricane season.”
