Camden County is hosting a community outreach event entitled Flood Risk Evaluation. This event will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the County Annex Building located at 107 N. Gross Road in Kingsland.
Participants need to bring their current flood insurance policy and their elevation certificate.
“We are excited to bring this outreach to the citizens of Camden County,” said Camden County CRS, E & S Coordinator Scott Brazell. “This is a great chance for homeowners to have their questions about flood insurance answered and find out if there is a way to make their home a little safer from flooding events.”
All Camden County homeowners are invited to attend this program that is designed to benefit homes that are already built and may have missed opportunities in new building technology that may provide cost savings. As part of the evaluation process, some homeowners may find information that could lower their flood insurance premiums. Interested parties are asked to register in advance by going to http://kingslandfloodoutreach.eventbrite.com. The outreach meeting is sponsored by Smart Vent Products.
