What type of permits are required?
Permits are required for Tenant Improvement, Buildings, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, Swimming Pools/Spas, Carport/Garage/Shed, Home Additions/Alterations/Addendums.

How do I obtain an address for my property?
First you will need to have the map and parcel number of your property and then contact the office and speak with the GIS Planner. They will assign an address for your property.
3.
How long does it take to get a building permit?
For all new projects, plans and applications must be in to the office by 5:00 pm on Monday. A review committee meets on Wednesday mornings to review all plans and if approved, the permit can be issued after the meeting. For small projects, patios, etc.,the permit can be issued immediately.
4.
Does my permit have an expiration date?
Yes, a permit expires within six months of the issuing of the permit, unless an inspection has been completed and progress is being made.
5.
What do I need for a business license?
A business license can be issued at the time of application if the request is approved for the zoning of the property. There is a $150.00 fee and the business license is renewable yearly.
6.
Where are the Planning and Zoning Commission Meetings and how often are they?
The meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm at the Camden County Annex Building, 107 Gross city
