Since 1992, the Solid Waste Department proudly serves Camden County and surrounding areas to provide a safe, environmentally friendly place to dispose of waste. Camden County's landfills provide for disposal of municipal solid waste (MSW) and construction and demolition (C&D) and industrial waste.
Fees for disposal vary according to the types of waste.
The Camden County Solid Waste Department does NOT provide transportation for waste. Please visit the Curbside Collection Office for more information about waste collection in unincorporated Camden County.
The following types of waste are not acceptable at Camden County Landfills:
Lead Acid Batteries
Untreated, Non-Residential Biomedical Wastes
Certain special waste can also be accepted, but must be pre-approved. To obtain approval for special waste, a special waste application must be submitted to the Solid Waste Department along with an analytical or TCLP of the waste. For more information on special waste or to obtain a special waste application, please call 912-510-5854.
