This committee will provide public input into activities for DCA’s Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The purpose of this committee is to provide on-going public input into mitigation activities, to continuously inform the mitigation program, to assist with program refinement as well as soliciting and responding to public comments on mitigation activities. The CAC will consist of members selected from HUD-identified Most Impacted and Distressed (MID) areas (Camden, Dougherty, and Glynn Counties) as well as interested delegates from other government entities committed to the advancement of Georgia. The meetings will commence twice annually, either virtually or by phone in calendar year 2021. Members will not receive a per diem for serving on the committee.
Interested citizens should complete the CAC Interest Form online no later than Friday, December 18, 2020. Participants will be notified by DCA through email of the CAC meeting schedule.
