Camden County’s Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has released its 2022 Hurricane Guide. The online guide, available on Camden County’s website at camdencountyga.gov/HurricaneGuide, has information to help local residents prepare for hurricane season.
“The 2022 Hurricane Season is anticipated to have above-normal activity and this guide has valuable information to help Camden County residents learn more about what they can do to better prepare for this year’s season,” said Emergency Management Director Chuck White. “All coastal Georgia residents should be aware that it only takes one storm to have a major impact on our community.”
Included in the guide is information about the 2022 Hurricane Forecast, preparing for hurricanes, CodeRED, and information about the online citizen damage reporter. Additionally, there is information about hurricane hazards and the Camden County Health Department’s Functional, Access, or Medical Needs Hurricane Registry.
