[ARCHIVED] SBA Loan Availability for Camden County Private Nonprofit Organizations

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is reminding private nonprofit organizations (PNP) in Georgia that November 8, 2033, is the deadline to submit disaster loan applications for physical damages caused by Hurricane Idalia that occurred on August 30, 2023.

Eligible PNP organizations in the counties of Appling, Atkinson, Bacon, Berrien, Brantley, Brooks, Bulloch, Burke, Camden, Candler, Charlton, Clinch, Coffee, Colquitt, Cook, Echols, Emanuel, Glynn, Jeff Davis, Jenkins, Lanier, Lowndes, Montgomery, Pierce, Screven, Tattnall, Thomas, Tift, Toombs, Treutlen, Ware and Wayne in Georgia. 

PNPs that provide non-critical services of a governmental nature may be eligible to apply. 

FEMA defines non-critical services as: Museums,  Zoos,  Libraries, Community centers, Homeless shelters,  Senior Citizen Centers, Educational facilities,  Custodial care facilities, Alcohol & Drug rehabilitation, Battered Spouse Programs,  Low-income housing, Food programs for the needy,  Daycare centers for special needs etc.

  • SBA has disaster recovery resource loans: 4%-businesses & 2.375-nonprofits, 0 payments 0% interest the first 12 months [interest does NOT accrue], $0 cost to apply, 0 obligation to accept, always fixed, as long as 30 years, physical injury loans in primary counties and SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan for businesses & nonprofits in adjacent counties - EIDL loans provide the necessary working capital to help your business survive until normal operations resume.
