[ARCHIVED] Camden County Emergency Management Agency Releases 2019 Hurricane Guide

Camden County’s Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has released its 2019 Hurricane Guide. The online guide, available on Camden County’s website at camdencountyga.gov, has information to help local residents prepare for hurricane season.

Included in the guide is information about the 2019 Hurricane Forecast, preparing for hurricanes, CodeRED, and the Camden County Unified Hurricane Re-Entry Plan. Additionally, there is information about hurricane hazards and the Camden County Health Department’s Functional, Access, or Medical Needs Hurricane Registry.

“The 2019 Hurricane Guide has valuable information to help Camden County residents learn more about what they can do to better prepare for this year’s hurricane season,” said EMA Director Chuck White. “As a coastal community, that has recently experienced the effects of hurricanes, it is vital that Camden County residents take a proactive approach to hurricane planning and organization.”
