Before his time in public service, Mr. Williams spent his career working for the University of Georgia Extension Service throughout the state of Georgia. This included two stints in Camden County, first from 1957 to 1972, before returning as Director from 1980 to his retirement in 1987. In this role he made an impact on a generation of children through his work with the 4-H program.
